Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy in Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dentist and teacher in a school, helped and encouraged her in her initial enthusiasm for theater and drama. Her initial dream to become a master monkey was surpassed by her desire to further study drama and theatre. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift rise in fame made her a promising young actor. In 1998, following the completion of her degree she was invited to take part in Jeunes Premiers which is an French TV talent-scouting show that is run by Canal+. She also was awarded the top Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. That led her pursue a career in acting professionally. Even though she went to in the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from her Catholic upbringing by stating that she is not officially Catholic. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting she is also interested in photography. She recently exhibited some of her photographs at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. Through her photos, she concentrates on the spotlight and celebrity. The camera is turned to journalists, who have sat and watched the actress after Amelie's sudden fame. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring role in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office success, and received accolades in award ceremonies all over all over the world. The movie is the highest-grossing French language movie on the market in US. In the years following this film, Tautou appeared in many films ranging in everything from British film to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
